Before Use
- Read all instructions and safety information before lighting.
- Inspect the candle and wick before each use.
- Do not light the candle if the wick is loose or the wax body is severely damaged.
- Make sure the skin is clean, dry and unbroken.
- This product contains fragrance. Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients.
- Perform a small skin test before first use.
- Place the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable tray away from draughts and flammable materials.
How to Use
- Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each use.
- Light the candle and allow a small pool of wax to form.
- Extinguish the flame completely before lifting or pouring the candle.
- Never pour wax while the flame is lit.
- Test one small drop on the inner forearm and wait to confirm that the temperature feels comfortable.
- Slowly apply a small amount to suitable external skin, keeping the flow controlled.
- Stop immediately if the wax feels too hot or causes pain, irritation or discomfort.
- Allow the wax to cool completely before gently removing it.
- Do not use sharp tools to remove wax from the skin.
Skin Safety
- The wax temperature is approximately 42°C, but actual temperature and perceived warmth may vary with room temperature and conditions of use.
- Low-temperature wax can still cause burns or skin irritation.
- Avoid the face, eyes, mouth, genitals, anus, mucous membranes, hair and any broken, irritated, sunburned or numb skin.
- Stop use if redness, itching, irritation or any other reaction occurs.
- Do not use while asleep, intoxicated or unable to judge temperature reliably.
- Do not use on areas with reduced sensation or impaired circulation.
- Maintain clear communication and ongoing consent throughout partner use.
Candle Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep away from draughts, flammable materials, loose clothing, children and pets.
- Do not move the candle while it is lit or while the wax is liquid.
- Extinguish the candle fully before leaving the room or going to sleep.
- Stop use if the flame becomes unusually high or the candle repeatedly smokes.
- Discontinue burning when approximately 10 mm of wax remains above the base.
- Do not use water to extinguish the candle.
Aftercare and Storage
- Allow the candle, tray and wax to cool completely after use.
- Gently peel away hardened wax.
- Wash remaining residue from the skin with lukewarm water and mild soap.
- Do not pour melted wax down drains.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Keep away from children and pets.
First Aid
- If a burn occurs, cool the affected area under cool or lukewarm running water for 20 minutes.
- Do not apply ice, creams, oils or greasy substances to the burn.
- Contact NHS 111 or seek medical attention for blistering, persistent pain, a large or deep burn, or any burn involving the face or genitals.
- In a fire emergency, call 999.
