01Information we collect

• Account and contact information: your email address and, if you choose to provide them, phone number, nickname, avatar, gender and similar profile details.
• Order and delivery information: name, address, purchase history, returns/refunds and messages you send us.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider; OHVAL does not receive or store your full card details.
• Technical information: IP address, essential sign-in cookies, local-storage settings and basic technical records needed to operate and secure the site.
• AI Try-On information: only when you choose to use the feature on supported products, we process the photo you upload, the generated result and limited usage records.

02How we use your information and our lawful bases

• Contract: to create accounts, process orders and payments, deliver goods, manage returns and provide customer service.
• Legal obligation: to keep records required for tax, accounting and consumer-law purposes.
• Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure, prevent abuse or fraud, troubleshoot problems and provide optional site features you actively request, such as AI Try-On.
• Consent: where required for marketing or non-essential cookies or similar technologies; you can withdraw consent at any time.

Contact and delivery details needed to complete an order are required; other profile details and AI Try-On are optional.

03Cookies and local storage

We use an essential sign-in cookie and browser local storage for your cart, language, theme and age confirmation. We currently do not use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will obtain consent where required before using them.

04Who we share information with

We share personal data only where needed to provide the service, including with our payment provider, our email provider, hosting and IT providers, delivery/logistics providers and third-party AI generation services used for AI Try-On. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, law-enforcement bodies or regulators where legally required. OHVAL does not sell your personal data.

05AI Try-On

AI Try-On is optional and available only on selected products. When you use it, your uploaded photo is sent to a third-party AI generation service (currently using fal.ai and related model services) to create the try-on result.

OHVAL does not store your original uploaded photo on its own servers and does not use it for OHVAL marketing. Third-party AI providers may retain request data, input media or generated media according to their technical settings and privacy terms. A generated-image link and limited job/usage records may also be retained to return results, apply usage limits and troubleshoot problems.

AI Try-On is not used to make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

06International transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer takes place, we use an applicable UK adequacy regulation, UK-recognised contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism, and require appropriate protection. You may contact us for further information about the safeguards used.

07How long we keep information

• Account data: normally until you delete your account, except records we must keep by law.
• Order, refund and accounting records: for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and consumer-law rules.
• Customer-service and security records: only for as long as reasonably needed to handle enquiries, disputes, security and operational matters.
• AI Try-On data: only for as long as needed to provide the feature, troubleshoot issues and follow the actual retention settings of the relevant provider; we do not keep it longer than necessary.

08Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict processing, receive portable data, object to processing and withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing at any time.

09Security, 18+ and updates

OHVAL uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Our website and products are intended for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children for purchases or AI Try-On.

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
