About this piece
Paevelle captures the layered form of a blooming peony in soy wax. The hidden-gold effect is revealed gradually as the petals melt, creating a changing contrast across three colour options: Black, Crimson and Blush. Each candle measures approximately 75 mm in diameter × 30 mm high and weighs approximately 50 g. Made from soy wax with added fragrance, the low-temperature wax is approximately 42°C during use. Actual temperature and perceived warmth may vary depending on room temperature and conditions of use. For sensory play, place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant tray and allow a small pool of wax to form. Extinguish the flame, test one small drop on the inner forearm, then apply gradually to clean, unbroken external skin. Low-temperature wax can still cause burns; stop immediately if it feels too hot or causes discomfort, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
